Michael Jordan made his last trip to Houston as a member of the Chicago Bulls on April 5, 1998 when his Bulls took on Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon and the Rockets. Jordan’s 40 points led all scorers as Chicago defeated Houston 109-94. Offered here is an Official Spalding game ball that has been signed by Michael Jordan, Clyde Drexler and Calvin Muphy – all Hall of Famers. Jordan’s signature is in black marker by itself on the panel above the Spalding logo panel. Drexler signed his name on the panel above Jordan’s signature panel in black marker and inscribed “#22”. Murphy signed his name in black marker on the opposite side and inscribed “Hall of Fame” and “#23”. The ball comes with a clear box display with a plate on the base that reads “MICHAEL JORDAN APRIL – 1998”. This lot also comes with a ticket from the April 5, 1998 game with a picture of Olajuwon and the date of the game. Also included is Calvin Murphy’s VIP credential. The Rockets logo is on the upper left corner with “1997-98” in the upper right corner and “Calvin Murphy” handwritten in green marker on the bottom. This lot comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AG08184) for the signatures on the basketball.
