Offered here is a Balfour 10K 1998 Rhein Fire NFL Europe Championship Ring that was presented to Tim Denton. A cornerback for that title team, Denton would later play in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins in 1998 and 1999, and for the San Diego Chargers in 2000. The Fire, after a 7-3 finish to the regular season, defeated the Frankfurt Galaxy, 34-10, to win the World Bowl. The face of the ring boasts a large red colored stone that showcases the NFL Europe League logo in the center of it. Around the bezel setting reads “1998 NFL EUROPE CHAMPIONS.” An image of the Rhein helmet adorns the left side of the band, with the name “DENTON” above the helmet, and a football displaying Denton’s number 23 at the bottom. The 1998 World Bowl and Rhein Fire logos appear of the other shank, along with the team’s 8-3 overall record inside an image of a football.
