Even though he was sidelined by a series of injuries, Hall of Famer Tim Raines’ positive attitude and veteran experience that earned him the nickname “The Rock” helped the Yankees win a pair of World Championships. Always the man to come through in the clutch with a timely hit, this bat was used by Raines during the 1998 season when he hit .290 for the World Champion Yankees. The Rock’s Cooper TR4 model bat shows moderate use with a handle crack. The barrel shows several ball marks and scuffs along with cleat imprints and abrasions from contact with other equipment. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and Raines has signed in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18202) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25435) for the signature.
