“The Admiral” started a dynasty in San Antonio that included NBA titles in 1999 and 2003. David Robinson, a former league MVP, 10-time All-Star and member of the famed Dream Team, was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009 following a career that saw the 7-foot center score 20,790 points and haul in 10,497 rebounds. This game-used white home jersey comes from a 1999-00 season when Robinson post 17.8 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. The jersey features “SPURS” across the chest and Robinson’s number “50” on both sides in black-on-silver tackle twill. “ROBINSON” appears across the back of the jersey in black tackle twill. A “Nike” manufacturer’s tag appears on the front tail of the jersey with size 50 and affixed tag that reads “LENGTH +4” for size modifications. A San Antonio Spurs and NBA Authentic tag also appear stitched on the front tail. The jersey shows light evidence of game use and comes with an LOA from noted jersey expert Dave Miedema.
