After winning an incredible eight National League batting titles, 1999 saw Tony Gwynn reach the 3,000 hit milestone. Gwynn was the face of the Padres franchise and he was revered by the San Diego fans for repeatedly signing for less money than he could get with other teams so he could remain a Padre.

Gwynn’s 1999-2000 Louisville Slugger B267 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. Many ball marks and stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel along with black and blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat impressions are visible and a light coat of pine tar is found on the center brand. The handle has been wrapped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip and the length “33” and weight “30.5” are written on the knob end in black marker. The model number “B267B” and Gwynn’s number “19” is hand written on both ends in black marker. Gwynn has signed the barrel below his stamped signature in black marker. The bat comes with a full GU 10 graded LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12663) for the game use and full LOA from PSA/DNA for the signature (AB12581).
