Run by Major League Baseball in 1999 and sponsored by Century 21, all but 10 teams participated in a “Turn Ahead the Clock” jersey promotion that featured “futuristic” type uniforms. On July 21, 1999 The San Francisco Giants wore “Turn Ahead the Clock” uniforms and Barry Bonds wore this “futuristic” jersey during this game where he scored a run in the Giants’ 10-2 victory. This size 48 Russell Athletic white pullover jersey features a large “SF” on an angle printed on the front. The sleeves are shortened and are colored black. The Russell size 48 tag is sewn on the bottom of the front left tail. The back of the jersey has “25” and “BONDS” (vertically) sewn on in black tackle twill.
