A 12-time National League All-Star, and 1995 Most Valuable Player, Barry Larkin was enshrined in Cooperstown in 2012. One of the greatest shortstops to ever play the game, Larkin is an all-time fan favorite in Cincinnati. This Cincinnati Reds batting helmet was game used by the Hall of Famer during the 1999 season, where he batted .293 with 12 home runs and 75 RBI. This American Baseball Cap professional model helmets displays evidence of outstanding game wear with a small crack on the left side of the bill and a 4 ½ inch crack on the back of the helmet. This red helmet, with a left ear flap, has a black painted brim and the Cincinnati “C” on the front in white outlined in black. The surface of the helmets is covered with scraps and scratches and the interior of the helmet also shows heavy wear and all the interior padding is in place and can be described as being in fair to good condition. The ABC 7 ½ size tag is affixed on the inside of the helmet at the top of the interior just in front of the top circular pad. Larkin’s number 11 and the MLB logo are affixed to the base of the back of the helmet. This helmet comes with a full LOA from JT Sports.
