Two-time All-Star shortstop Cristian Guzman wore this Rawlings glove during his rookie season of 1999. Guzman started the season with the Twins, making his MLB debut on April 6th, 1999 against the Toronto Blue Jays. Guzman hit a home run, with 26 RBI, 12 doubles, and 47 runs scored during his rookie campaign. The native of the Dominican Republic led the American League in triples in the next two seasons, with 20 and 14, before leading the AL in triples for a third time in 2003, with 14 three-baggers. Guzman retired after the 2010 season with a career .271 batting average in 1,406 games.
This offered Rawlings glove is constructed of black leather, with “C.G” embroidered on the thumb in yellow. A Rawlings tag is sewn on the wrist, while a circular Rawlings logo is located on the back of the thumb. Guzman has signed this glove. The glove comes with a LOA from Guzman and a LOA from PSA/DNA.
