The Hall of Fame guard Gary Payton wore these Nike Air Zoom GP sneakers during the 1999-2000 NBA season. “The Glove” started all 82 of the Seattle SuperSonics contests in 1999-2000, averaging a career-high 24.2 points per game to go with 6.5 rebounds, 8.9 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Payton was an All-Star and a member of both the 1999-2000 All-NBA First Team and the All-NBA Defensive First Team. These sneakers are black and gray, with green accents and “Payton” embroidered in green on the outside of each foot. His number “20” is sewn on the back of each shoe in green and white. The sneakers are size 13, and both have been signed by Payton in gold marker. These shoes originate from the personal memorabilia collection of Tyronn Lue, who was gifted the shoes by Payton after a game. These shoes come with a LOA from Tyronn Lue and a LOA from JSA (BB11007). Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
