Newly elected Hall of Famer Jim Thome spent 22 seasons in the Major Leagues and the majority was spent with the Cleveland Indians. Thome’s bat was key during the 1999 season as the lefty slugger hit 33 home runs and drove in 108, while also leading the American League in walks with 127. This offered Rawlings/Adirondack 491A model bat was used by Thome during the 1999 season. This bat displays moderate use and is un-cracked. There are some ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. Handwritten in silver marker on the knob end and in black marker on the cupped barrel end is Thome’s number “25”, along with the model number “491A” and the length and weight “35/32”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12734) and has been graded a GU 7.5.
