Presented is a limited-edition 1999 New York Yankees team-signed home Yankees jersey with 20 signatures in blue marker on the white jersey with navy-blue pinstripes, in a framed display. Notable signatures include Hall of Fame Yankees reliever Mariano Rivera (who inscribed “MVP” below his signature, directly below the navy-blue interlocking “NY” logo on the left chest), Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre, and Hall of Fame Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, as well as notable Yankees players and staff including Don Zimmer, Clay Bellinger, Ramiro Mendoza, Jeff Manto, Bernie Williams, David Cone, Paul O’Neill, Ricky Ledee and Luis Sojo, among others. There is a 1999 World Series logo patch embroidered in red, white, blue, green and gold sewn on the right sleeve above a navy-blue embroidered Russell “R”. The left sleeve has navy-blue number “5” on the left sleeve above a memorial black armband, in honor of the late Hall of Fame Yankees centerfielder Joe DiMaggio, who died in March 1999. This jersey is inscribed “50/199” in blue marker above Rivera’s signature, below the navy-blue “NY” on the left chest. The 1999 New York Yankees swept the 1999 World Series in four games over the Atlanta Braves for their second consecutive title, third in four years, and 25th overall. Rivera was the World Series MVP.
