When the Yanks needed a veteran first baseman, they called for Tino Martinez. Tino was a big factor in the Yankees 1999 World Series win, belting 28 homers during the season and two more in the postseason. Martinez’s 1999 Louisville Slugger B349 model bat shows good game use. The barrel shows many ball marks that include ink transfers, stitch impressions and leather scuffs. Cleat imprints are present along with bat rack paint streaks. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and Tino has signed the barrel with “1999 World Champs.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5 and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
