Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Following his playing career that ended following the 1992 season, Randolph joined the coaching ranks and re-joined the Yankees in 1994. In 1999, Randolph was the third base coach under manager Joe Torre.

Randolph wore this New York Yankees home pinstriped jersey for the 1999 World Series. This offered Russell Athletic size 46 button-down Yankees’ jersey features the interlocking “NY” sewn on the upper left chest in navy tackle twill. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with an additional tag is a white tag that reads “RANDOLPH – 99” which is faded. The back of the jersey has Randolph’s number “30” sewn on in navy tackle twill and he left sleeve has a black armband and the number “5” which was worn by the ballclub following the deaths of Jim “Catfish” Hunter and Joe DiMaggio. DiMaggio’s number was worn the entire season, while the armband was added following Hunter’s passing on September 9th. The right sleeve has the “1999 WORLD SERIES" patch. Randolph has signed his name in silver marker on the top of the “0” and inscribed vertically on the sides of the number “1999 World Series” and “Game Used”. This game worn jersey derives from the Willie Randolph Collection and comes with a signed LOA from Willie Randolph.
