Toronto Raptors swingman and highlight reel stuffer Vince Carter wore this white Raptors home jersey during the 2000-2001 NBA season, his third in the Association. The bouncy two-guard dominated the league that season, filling the stat sheet with 27.6 points, 5.5 boards, and 3.9 assists per game. Carter, an All-Star in 2001, led the Raptors to a team-record 47 victories and a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. Arguably the greatest dunker in NBA history, Carter has remained a steady presence in the league since his debut in 1998, suiting up for the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2016-17 season.
This jersey features “RAPTORS” sewn across the front in red and purple tackle twill. Carter’s number “15” is sewn on the front and back in red and purple tackle twill. “CARTER” is sewn across the back shoulders in purple tackle twill. An NBA logo patch is sewn above the left breast. The sides have a predominantly purple vertical stripe outlined on each side in a thin red stripe with two silver “V” stripes. A Nike Raptors size “52” tag with a “Length +4” tag is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. This jersey shows good signs of game use and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
