Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton used this Mizuno bat during the 2000-2001 seasons. 2000 was Helton’s career-year, leading the NL in hits, doubles, RBI, batting average, on-base percentage, slugging and total bases. He also hit 42 home runs as he made his first All-Star Game squad. Helton followed that up with a very good 2001, hitting .336 with 49 homers. Used during those two massive seasons, Helton’s 2000-2001 Mizuno Pro Model bat shows good use with a cracked handle. The barrel displays several prominent ball marks that include white leather ball scuffs and ink transfers. A light coat of pine tar is found on the handle and Helton’s number “17” is handwritten on the knob end in silver marker. This bat comes with a LOA from the Colorado Rockies and LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18231) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
