Cal Ripken Jr.'s penultimate season in 2000 saw the "Ironman" and MLB record holder for most consecutive games played bat .256 with 79 hits, 15 home runs, and 56 RBI en route to earning his 18th All-Star appearance. Coming directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr., he wore this Baltimore Orioles road jersey during that 2000 season. This Majestic size 50 button-down jersey has “Orioles” and a paraph sewn on across the front in orange, black and white tackle twill. Ripken’s number “8” is sewn on below in orange and black tackle twill. The Majestic tag with the “50” size flag is sewn on the front left tail. The back of the jersey has “RIPKEN” and “8” sewn on in orange and black tackle twill with an MLB logo patch in Orioles’ colors sewn on the back neck. The sleeves have black soutache piping stripes with the left sleeve having the Orioles “Oriole” logo patch sewn on. This jersey comes with a signed LOA from Cal Ripken, Jr. for the game use.
