This button-down Atlanta Braves home jersey was game used by Greg Maddux during the 2000 MLB season. Maddux finished the season with a 19-9 record and an even 3.00 ERA as he finished third in the Cy Young Award voting. The jersey, white with red and navy piping down the center and around the neck and sleeves, features “Braves” scripted across the chest above the iconic Tomahawk, both in red-on-navy tackle twill. Maddux’s number “31” is stitched on the back of the jersey in red and navy tackle twill, which is beneath “MADDUX” that is sewn on in navy tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. The Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag is found on the front left tail, with 2 additional smaller tags reading size “46” and “1-00”. The right sleeve bears the “2000 All-Star Game” patch and this jersey displays light game use. Maddux has signed his name in black marker on the top rung of the “3”. This jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190924C13) for the game use and a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (AE13042) for the signature.
