Houston Astros power-hitting first baseman and Hall of Famer Jeff Bagwell wore this Astros alternate jersey during the 2000 MLB season. Bagwell set a career high in home runs that year, smashing 47 of his 449 career round trippers in 2000. Additionally, Bagwell knocked in 132 RBI and contributed a stellar .310 batting average to an underwhelming Astros team.

This black button down Majestic alternate jersey features “Astros” sewn across the front in tan, red and black tackle twill. “BAGWELL” is sewn across the back shoulders in tan, red and black tackle twill on a black nameplate below a MLB logo. Bagwell’s number “5” is sewn on the back in similarly colored tackle twill. A square “2000 Inaugural Season” patch commemorating the opening of Enron Field, now known as Minute Maid Park, is sewn on the left sleeve above a tan Majestic logo. A Majestic Authentic tag with size “52” flag attached is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. This jersey shows moderate signs of game use. Bagwell signed the number “5” in black marker. This signature comes with a Tristar Authenticated hologram (7743276). A LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticates game use.
