This alluring card carries a unique and valuable provenance: the card was presented to our consignor as a personal gift from a high-ranking Donruss executive in 2009, who stated at the time that the piece emanated directly from the company's files. Although a small number of cards are typically retained by a manufacturer (in case of a need to replace a damaged item), this particular card was not in the customer service department where those replacement cards are held and distributed if required.
