Led by superstars Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, the 1999-2000 Los Angeles Lakers dominated the NBA to the tune of a 67-15 regular season record. O’Neal was unstoppable, averaging 29.7 points per game to go along with 13.6 rebounds and 3.0 blocks. Bryant put up 22.5 points per contest. Head coach Phil Jackson’s squad got past the Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers to advance to the NBA Finals. The Lakers went on the beat the Indiana Pacers, four games to two, to win the NBA title.

Presented here is a 14K gold 2000 Shaquille O’Neal Los Angeles Lakers NBA championship ring, gifted by O’Neal to Donnie Wilson. This beauty of a ring features an enamel-filled “LAKERS” stretched across a bed of diamonds. “WORLD CHAMPIONS” reads in relief lettering as additional diamonds vertically line either side of the face. One shank is highlighted by a single round diamond which takes the place of a basketball appearing to go through a hoop. “BLING BLING” and the year “2000” read around the image. The opposite side is centered by an NBA logo, with the name “O’NEAL” above and the number “34” below. Also appearing are the team’s regular season record (67-15) and postseason mark (15-8). Inside the band includes the name “DONNIE WILSON” as well as a 14K mark. The ring is an approximate size 11 and weighs approximately 59.1 grams. The presentation box included is actually a 2001 box which displays the ring nicely.
