Before he became the greatest quarterback of all time and the winner of seven Super Bowls and five Super Bowl MVP awards, Tom Brady was a sixth-round pick during the 2000 NFL Draft who played the final series during the Patriots 34-9 Thanksgiving Day loss to the Detroit Lions on November 23, 2000 at the Detroit Silverdome in Detroit, Michigan. Brady completed one pass for six yards on three attempts during the loss. Brady would take over the reins of the Patriots during the 2001 season and lead the franchise to the first Lombardi Trophy in Patriots history.

(Dick) Richards purchases the Plymouth Spartans, renames them the Lions and moves the franchise to Detroit. The NFL’s first-ever Thanksgiving Day game is played on November 29, 1934, against the Chicago Bears in front of a standing-room-only crowd at the University of Detroit”. The reverse side of the ticket features a coupon for $20.00 off at Belle Tire. This ticket stub comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (63977069) and is graded VG 3.
