Vince Carter wore this offered blue Team USA road jersey during the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympic Games. Carter was the leading scorer for the United States squad, dropping 14.8 points per game as the USA easily won the gold medal with an 85-75 win over France in the Gold Medal Game. Carter punctuated these Olympics with one of the most famous dunks of all time, a thunderous jam over France’s 7’2” center Frederic Weiss. This jersey is the same style as the one Carter wore for his iconic slam. Carter, an eight-time All-Star, is currently playing in his 21st NBA season, and is a likely future Hall of Famer.

This blue road jersey has “USA” and Carter’s number “9” are sewn on the chest of the jersey in red and white tackle twill. “CARTER” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a red and white tackle twill “9”. A star-shaped patch is sewn above Carter’s name on the back of the jersey. A USA Basketball patch and a Champion logo patch are sewn on the left chest. The sides of the jersey are accented with a white and red stripe and a white star patch is sewn on the collar. A 2000 Olympic team tag and a Champion size “50” tag with an attached “+2 Length” flag is sewn on the front left tail. Please note that there is a small imperfection on the collar. This jersey shows moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema, who states that this is “among the best Team USA Olympics gamers [he has] ever viewed in terms of wear”.
