Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant wore this Adidas Kobe 2 right sneaker in two games during the 2001-02 NBA season. Bryant first wore this white, yellow, and black sneaker on January 6th, 2002 at the Air Canada Centre against the Toronto Raptors. Bryant led all scorers with 31 points as the Lakers demolished the Raptors 109-89 to improve their record to 24-6. Bryant next wore this shoe in the Lakers following contest, a 121-92 road win over the Detroit Pistons on January 8th at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The former Lower Merion High School standout scored 20 points and dished 6 assists as Shaquille O’Neal paced the Lakers with a 28-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Bryant made his fourth of 18 NBA All-Star teams in 2002, scoring 25.2 points with 5.5 rebounds and assists per game for the Pacific Division champion Lakers. Bryant continued his torrid streak throughout the postseason, averaging 26.8 points per game in Los Angeles’ four-game sweep of the New Jersey Nets in the NBA Finals.

This offered Adidas Kobe II sneaker, one of the most notorious pieces of NBA footwear, is white with yellow and black accents. The sole is yellow, and Kobe’s profile is etched on the heel. The class of 2020 Hall of Famer has signed this size 14 shoe in black marker. The shoe comes with a MeiGray LOA photo matching the item to the mentioned two games, while a LOA from JSA covers Bryant’s signature.
