The legendary Michael Jordan wore this pair of Air Jordan XVII Low sneakers during the 2001-02 NBA season. Jordan, in his first of two seasons with the Washington Wizards, led the team in scoring at a 22.9 points per game clip. The Greatest of All-Time added 5.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game in his first season back from a three-year retirement. Jordan played one final season with the Wizards before retiring. In 2009, MJ was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. These offered Air Jordan XVII Low sneakers are white, with blue accents and a blue insert in the shoes. Jordan’s iconic number “23” is etched on the heel of both shoes in brown below a white Jumpman logo. Jordan has signed the left shoe in green marker. These sneakers originate from the personal memorabilia collection of Tyronn Lue, who was gifted the shoes by his teammate Jordan after a game. These shoes come with a LOA from Tyronn Lue and a LOA from JSA. Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
