It is universally agreed, Shaquille O’Neal is one of the few top centers in NBA history. Indeed, many analysts and historians rank him as a top-10 all-time player. “Superman” was perhaps never better than he was in the three years he took the Lakers to a three-peat of NBA Championships and earned the Finals MVP all three years. Offered here is one of the finest examples of his game worn shoes we have seen. This is a pair of Shaq’s mammoth-sized Player Exclusive shoes from his final Championship season with the Lakers, 2001-2002. These shoes are size 22, show excellent game wear, and were one of Shaq’s preferred styles from the 2001-02 season. Each shoe has a “Shaq” silver silhouetted logo on the outside ankle-top and his “34” is prominently displayed in purple and gold on each of the soles. The white laces are tucked under a custom stretch cover. This pair of shoes was acquired from a Lakers representative by Lakers expert Dan Ceniceros, and it is accompanied by his DC Sports LOA. A finer pair of Shaq’s game worn Lakers shoes from his NBA Championship dominance would be difficult to locate.
