The years 2001 to 2007 saw Ken Griffey, Jr. putting the final numbers on his Hall of Fame resume. In 2004, he hit his 500th career home run, his 2,143 career hit which coincidentally tied him with his father, who happened to be sitting in the stands that day. During those seven summers, Junior added 155 homers to his eventual lifetime total of 630 and enjoyed the last full seasons of his career.

Junior’s The Louisville Slugger C271 model bat is un-cracked and displays outstanding use. The left and back barrel has some checking from repeated ball contact and there are many ball marks with stitch impressions throughout. White leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers are visible and cleat impressions are found on the left and back barrel. A light coat of pine tar coats the handle and the lower portion has been taped in a crisscross fashion to enhance the grip. All in all, this is a textbook gamer from one of the greatest players to step on a baseball diamond. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B06911) for the game use and has been graded a GU 9.
