Former Chicago White Sox slugger Paul Konerko wore this Wilson A2000 1883 model glove during the 2001 season, where he finished the season with 32 home runs and 99 RBI. This all-black glove is made of Wilson’s top-grade black tanned steerhide with tanned rawhide laces and nylon stitching. The webbing of this glove is a pro style Dual Post H-Web and there is an adjustable wrist strap and Pro-Back fleece lined interior with a finger hole on the closed back. “PAUL KONERKO” is embroidered in white on the outer thumb and the Wilson logo is in yellow next to the embroidered name. “A2000” is embroidered in yellow on the back finger sleeve. This glove displays substantial game use with even wear on the pocket, web face and throughout the body. The finger edges also display wear and Konerko has signed his name in silver marker on the face of the right side of the pocket and inscribed “GAME USED”. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00612) for the game use and a COA from JSA for the signature.
