Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress wore this white Steelers road jersey on November 25th, 2001, as the Steelers defeated the Tennessee Titans 34-24 at Adelphia Coliseum. Burress, in the middle of his breakout sophomore season, caught eight passes for 114 yards and a score from Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart as the visiting team capitalized on a sloppy Titans performance. Stewart added a 48-yard touchdown rush, while a Chad Scott interception return with under four minutes to go in the fourth quarter iced the game for Pittsburgh. Burress turned in his first 1,000 receiving yard season in 2001, finishing the year with 66 catches for 1,008 yards for Bill Cowher’s 13-3 AFC North champions.

This offered Steelers home jersey is white, with Burress’ number “80” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in black tackle twill. “BURRESS” is sewn across the back shoulders in yellow and black tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. A Steelers logo and a NFL logo patch are sewn on the chest, while Reebok logo patches are sewn on each sleeve. An “01-42” swatch is sewn on the back inside collar. Team repairs are present on this jersey. The jersey comes with a Pittsburgh Steelers hologram, a RGU LOA, and a PMG LOA.
