Former NBA star Rick Fox enjoyed a stellar 13-season career playing for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Canadian-born forward out of the University of North Carolina, won three titles with the Lakers from 2000-2002 and retired following the 2004 season. Fox won his second title with the Lakers in 2001, where he appeared in 16 playoff games during the playoff run, averaging nearly 36 minutes and 10 points.
Fox wore these size 15 white Nike Max Air sneakers during the 2001 playoffs. These sneakers are white with purple and yellow accents. There are two purple Nike swooshes on each show, with one embroidered on the area by the laces above the instep and on the toes. The tongues are purple with “FORCE” in white and the laces are white. The lower heels are purple with yellow Nike swooshes on each side. Fox has signed each shoe in in blue pen on the outsides, inscribing “17”. The number “15” is handwritten in black marker next to Fox’s signatures on each shoe signifying the number of games to win the NBA title. The right shoe has a slight tear in the seams on the outside as these sneakers display moderate game use. These come with a LOA from Rick Fox.
