During Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson’s 25-year career, the all-time leading base stealer spent his 2001 season with the San Diego Padres, one of the nine franchises he suited up for. Henderson wore this Russell Athletic button-down size 44 road gray jersey during that 2001 season where he played in 123 games. “SAN DIEGO” is sewn on across the chest in navy blue, white and orange tackle twill. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with a “100% POLYESTER” flag. The back of the jersey has “HENDERSON” sewn on in navy blue tackle twill and his number “24” sewn on in navy blue, white and orange tackle twill below his name. The left sleeve has the Russell Athletic logo embroidered in navy blue and above that is a San Diego Padres Baseball Club patch. The MLB logo is sewn on the upper back neck in navy blue, white and orange. This jersey was used before the September 11th attacks as there is no American Flag patch that covers the MLB logo on this jersey. This jersey displays moderate use and comes with a LOA from The Padres Foundation For Children attesting that this jersey was given to them as a donation and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
