Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Following his playing career that ended following the 1992 season, Randolph joined the coaching ranks and re-joined the Yankees in 1994. In 2001, Randolph was the third base coach under manager Joe Torre.

Randolph wore this size XL Majestic insulated cold weather jacket during the 2001 World Series. This navy button-down satin jacket features “Yankees” and a paraph sewn on in white tackle twill on the front. There are two pockets and each sleeve end, along with the collar, have a ribbed material with navy and white stripes. The Yankees’ logo patch is son the upper left sleeve, while an American Flag in yellow borders patch in tribute the 9/11 terrorist attack victims is on the upper right sleeve. The Majestic tag is on the inside collar and the MLB logo patch is on the upper back. Randolph has signed his name in silver marker on the upper left chest and inscribed “2001 Game Used”. This item derives from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item.
