The great Michael Jordan wore this Washington Wizards home jersey during the 2002-2003 NBA season and has been photo matched to the December 18th game at the MCI Center in Washington, DC between the Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies. Jordan scored 33 points during the Wizards 118-100 victory. This was the final year Jordan, a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, would grace the NBA with his presence on the hardwood before transitioning to a management and ownership role.

Jordan, who came out of a three-year retirement to join the Wizards in 2001-02, averaged a cool 20 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game in 2002-03, despite being 39 years old. An All-Star in his final season, Jordan once again asserted his status as the greatest player in NBA history that year.

This mesh jersey has “WIZARDS” sewn across the chest in blue, gold, and black tackle twill. Jordan’s iconic number “23” is sewn on the chest and back in blue, gold, and black tackle twill. “JORDAN” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue and gold tackle twill. The sleeve openings and collar of this jersey feature blue, gold, and black bands, and a similarly colored strip runs down the left side of this jersey. An NBA logo patch is sewn above the left breast. A Nike/NBA Authentics size “50” tag with a “LENGTH +4” flag is sewn on the bottom front left area of the jersey. This jersey shows good signs of game use and has been signed vertically in silver marker on the “2” on the back of the jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from The MeiGray Group (153824) for the game use and has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the December 18th contest. Jordan’s signature comes with an Upper Deck hologram (SHO 00348) that is affixed to the “2” on the back of the jersey and individual LOAs from PSA/DNA (AC00738) and JSA (Z33227).
