Presented here is a 2002-03 Michael Jordan game worn Washington Wizards sleeveless shooting shirt from his final season that comes directly from the personal collection of George Koehler, who is a long-time associate of Michael Jordan dating back to when Jordan joined the Bulls in 1984, having originally been his limousine driver, then his personal assistant and friend. Koehler was also part in the popular ESPN documentary The Last Dance. This teal and black sleeveless jersey was made by Nike and is a size 2XL. The front and back are blue with black stripes and white borders on the open sleeves. “WIZARDS” is embroidered in smaller print on the top center chest in white and bronze, with the NBA logo and white Nike swoosh on the upper right chest. The Nike size 2XL tag, along with a Wizards logo tag and an NBA AUTHENTICS tags are sewn on the front left tail. Jordan’s number “23” is handwritten in black marker on the Nike tag. The back of this jersey does not have a name or number and the Wizards logo is embroidered on the lower back right tail. A separate Nike size XXL tag is on the inside back collar. This sleeveless shooting shirt comes with a LOA from George Koehler, who states in his LOA that this item came directly from his personal collection and was received directly from Michael Jordan.
