2002 saw former slugger Alex Rodriguez produce one of his best offensive numbers. As a member of the Texas Rangers, Rodriguez hit American highs in home runs with 57 and RBI with 142, while also leading the league in total bases with 389. Rodriguez used this Rawlings Pro 6HF fielder’s glove during the 2002 season. This glove displays excellent game use and was constructed of Rawlings top grade tanned steer hide bound with tanned rawhide laces and nylon stitching. Moderate wear can be seen in the pocket, face of the web and throughout the body of this glove. The back of the index finger just above the finger hole is darkened from Rodriguez’s index finger. “Alex Rodriguez” is embroidered in black along the outside thumb. Features of this glove include a closed “FastBack” with a finger hole and adjustable wrist strap, a dual laced palm hinge and a pro-style single post double T bar web. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00734) for the game use.
