Barry Bonds used this Sam Bat offered here during his 2002 MVP season and when it was used to hit his 572nd career home run.  Bonds’ 5th home run of the 2002 season came off of San Diego Padres pitcher Alan Embree in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead the Giants to a walk-off victory on April 5th. Bonds’ amazing career-high .370 combined with a monstrous 1.381 OPS propelled the Giants all the way to the World Series.

This SAM Bonds 2K1 model bat is un-cracked, showing outstanding use and has been photo matched to the April 5th, 2002 home run by PSA/DNA. The barrel has ball marks along with white leather ball scuffs and ink transfers. There are some cleat marks on all sides of the barrel and the handle and knob have been taped to enhance the grip. The top barrel has the length “34,” weight “31.7 oz,” date “02 05 02,” model “2K1” and Bonds’ initials “B.B.” written on the barrel end in black marker. The slugger has also signed the barrel in silver marker, inscribing “4-5-02 #572” making this a complete Barry Bonds gamer. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use, who have photo matched this bat to Bonds' 572nd career home run and graded this bat a perfect GU 10. Additionally, there is a LOA from Barry Bonds.
