The 2002 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, July 9, 2002 at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers of the National League, was the 73rd playing of the midsummer classic. That game controversially ended with a 7–7 tie due to both teams running out of available pitchers. No player was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award due to the game ending in a tie.
Presented is a 30 x 152-inch blue vinyl banner that hung along the baseline during the 2002 MLB All-Star Game, celebrating Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki. The legend “Ichiro” is silk screened in white with gold outline across the banner, with a version of the 2002 All-Star Game logo at the right.
