Minnesota Twins first baseman Justin Morneau wore this “Stars & Stripes” themed New Britain Rock Cats jersey during the 2002 MiLB season. Morneau, the future 2006 American League MVP with the Twins, played in 126 games for the AA Rock Cats in 2002, hitting .298 with 16 homers, 80 RBI, and 31 doubles. This was Morneau’s final full-season in the minor leagues, as the Canadian slugger appeared in 40 contests with the Twins the following season.
