New York Jets wide receiver Santana Moss wore this white road jersey during the New York Jets Divisional Round playoff game against the Oakland Raiders on January 12th, 2003. Moss was the leading receiver for the Jets in this game, pulling in four catches for 45 yards and adding an additional 32 on the ground. The Jets, coming off a 41-0 demolition of the Indianapolis Colts in the opening round, fell to the eventual Super Bowl runner up Raiders by a score of 30-10. Moss would play the first four seasons of his career for the Jets before joining the Washington Redskins football team for the final decade of his career.
This white road jersey has Moss’ number “83” sewn on the front and back in green tackle twill, and on the sleeves in white tackle twill. “MOSS” is sewn across the back shoulders in green tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. A Reebok logo is sewn on each of the green and white sleeves, and a Jets logo patch is sewn on the left chest. An “01-44” tag is sewn on the back inside collar of this jersey. A green Jets handwarmer is also included in this lot. The jersey comes with a LOA from Santana Moss himself.
