In the last 20 years, there has not been a more dominant player in the world of golf than Tiger Woods. Since his groundbreaking win at the 1997 Masters to his latest victory at the 2019 Masters, Woods has amassed 15 Major victories in his storied career. Only Jack Nicklaus with 18 wins has won more Major titles.

In 2002, Tiger won the Masters for the third time and the U.S. Open for the second time and was primed for another Major at the PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota. Wearing this blue-patterned Nike golf shirt, Tiger shot 1-Under 71 in the first round of the PGA Championship on August 15, 2002 and ultimately finished second to Rich Beem by one stroke. This shirt has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the August 15th, 2002 round.

This Nike “Tiger Woods” size L short-sleeved shirt features shades of blue horizontal stripes with very thin vertical dark blue stripes intersecting. A small Nike Golf logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve and the Tiger Woods “TW” logo is embroidered in white on the upper back, just below the light blue collar. The front has three buttons from the bottom of the collar and Woods has signed this shirt on one of the horizontal dark blue stripes in gold marker and has been labeled “1/1” in gold. This shirt comes with a COA from Upper Deck Authenticated, which authenticated Woods’ signature and use of his shirt. There is also a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426497), who have photo matched this shirt to the first round of the 2002 PGA Championship played on August 15, 2002.
