New York Giants star running back Tiki Barber wore this blue Giants home jersey on September 22nd, 2002 as Jim Fassel’s Giants took on the Seattle Seahawks at Giants Stadium. The Giants won this defensive battle 9-6, with three Matt Bryant field goals in the second half handing New York the decisive margin. Barber, a three-time Pro Bowler, rushed for 50 yards in this game and caught seven Kerry Collins’ passes for 57 receiving yards. Ron Dayne added an additional 48 rushing yards for the G-Men, and Amani Toomer caught four passes for an even 100 yards. Barber started 15 games for the Giants in 2002, rushing for 1,384 yards and 11 touchdowns, with an additional 597 receiving yards and a long run of 70 yards.

This offered Giants home jersey is blue, with Barber’s number “21” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white tackle twill. “BARBER” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching blue nameplate. The collar is red, with a NFL Equipment shield sewn on the front. Reebok logo patches are sewn on each sleeve and a Reebok tag with attached size “46” and “6[inch] L.B.” flags is sewn on the front left tail. A “02-46” swatch is sewn on the back inside collar. Barber has signed the “1” digit on the back of the jersey in blue marker, inscribing “21” and “Game Used” in addition to his signature. Barber inscribed “To Steve / Best of Luck!” on the “2” digit. This jersey has been photo matched to the September 22nd game by RGU, who have provided a LOA. Additionally, a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication Services (A25471) covers Barber’s signature.
