LeBron James’ rookie season at age 19 yielded relatively modest statistical totals – 20.9 points and 5.9 assists per game. That was an understated beginning, as he had amassed 14,200 points by age 25, and is now on the heels of overtaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone as the NBA’s all-time scoring leader. He's (so far!) become a 12-time NBA All-Star (2005–2016) and two-time NBA All-Star Game MVP (2006, 2008). He's among the all-time leaders in the All-Star Game, and he ranks first in points scored (291), first in three-pointers made (28), and is tied for first in field goals made (119). But the superstar's talents extend beyond even the most impressive on-court accomplishments. LeBron James is a phenomenal athlete, and a world-wide fan favorite. His presence has elevated the sport, and his positive influence seems boundless. This outstanding trading card succeeds in capturing a tangible share of James' magic, and in preserving his mystique for the viewer's appreciation.
LeBron James has penned a bright and carefully scripted, blue ink signature on the obverse of this ultra-premium collectible; the cardfront also showcases a game worn, multicolored jersey swatch relic, an item that is creatively displayed in die-cut windows cut to the shape of LeBron's uniform number. The card's BGS condition report: Centering: 9.5, Corners: 8, Edges: 9, Surface: 9. A congratulatory statement on the card's back attests to the authenticity of the signature and genuineness of the patch component, and serves as Upper Deck’s COA.
