Encapsulated and graded MINT 9 by BGS, with signature graded "10" by Beckett. A super-premium Rookie Card, and – by any measure – one of the hobby's flagship collectibles! This card has been owned by just three people and has been in the same collection since 2012. Bob Morris, who has one of the greatest LeBron James collections, purchased this card soon after release. The patch contains part of the "A" from Cavaliers, and based on Goldin Auctions' vast experience in Exquisite cards, we feel this is the single finest patch that exists in the /99 run of James' RPAs.

LeBron James' ascendency to the uppermost heights of NBA glory has continued, uninterrupted, for nearly two decades. The young phenomenon from Akron, Ohio, who was only the second high school player in history to be selected as the first overall pick in the NBA Draft, was chosen on June 26, 2003 by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He next became the youngest Rookie of the Year in NBA history – while averaging 20-plus points per game during the 2003/04 campaign – and the first-ever Cavaliers player so lauded.

James' list of stellar accomplishments continues to lengthen. He's a four-time NBA champion (2012, 2013, 2016, 2020) and a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2008, 2012). Four-time MVP (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013). Four-time NBA Finals MVP (2012, 2013, 2016, 2020). Those are merely the tip of the iceberg, which has also grown to outsized dimensions on the basis of memorable playoff performances. Few would disagree that watching this incredible player in action, and following the career of such an extraordinary hardcourt warrior, represents a rare gift that's been bestowed upon this generation. And only the most superlative, highest-level commemoratives – on the order of the sublime and majestic piece here offered – could possibly constitute fitting tribute to LeBron James' singular greatness.

The incomparable superstar has penned a vivid blue ink signature on the obverse of this fantastic collectible. Its cardfront presentation also incorporates an exceptional, tri-color jersey patch relic that was worn by James at a photo shoot. The card's BGS condition report: Centering: 9.5, Corners: 8.5, Edges: 9, Surface: 10. A congratulatory statement on the card's back attests to the authenticity of the signature and genuineness of the patch component, and serves as Upper Deck’s COA. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered "57/99." Impeccably splendid Mint condition.
