Texas Rangers shortstop Alex Rodriguez used this Rawlings PRO-GHF model glove in 2003, his final year in Arlington before joining the New York Yankees in a blockbuster offseason deal. Rodriguez won the first of his three American League MVP awards in 2003, leading baseball with 47 home runs. Rodriguez hit .298 in 2003, adding 118 RBI, 124 runs scored, 17 steals, and 30 doubles. The former Mariner made the American League All-Star team in 2003 and received both Silver Slugger and Gold Glove honors after the season.

This glove displays heavy game wear with substantial use seen in the pocket, web face and throughout the body of the glove. “Alex Rodriguez” is embroidered in black along the outside of the thumb. The Rawlings logo is sewn on in red at the base of the outside thumb and an additional Rawlings logo is embroidered in red on a gold rectangle background below the outside fingers. Rodriguez has signed his name twice on the glove in black marker, one below his embroidered name on the outside thumb and the other on the outside index finger. Rodriguez has also inscribed “2003 Game Used EVERY GAME… #8 ERROS”. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00566) for the game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
