Offered here is a great game used glove from David Wells’ second stint in the Bronx. Going 15-7, “Boomer” helped lead the Yankees to another pennant in 2003 along with reaching the personal milestone of his 200th big league win. As Wells himself inscribed on the webbing, the Yankees ace used this glove during his May 19th, 2003 win against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway. Wells threw 6 2/3 innings, allowing one run on nine hits, striking out four and walking only one batter. This Rawlings Pro Preferred 13 Inch model glove shows light game use. “Boomer 33” and “3” has been embroidered in red along the thumb and Wells has signed the webbing in black marker adding his number “33” and NY-7 vs BOS-3 - 5-19-03”. David Wells Foundation hologram sticker number (01013) is affixed on the base of the thumb and this glove comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use, plus a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
