The Hall of Fame center Dikembe Mutombo wore these white and black Nike shoes during the 2003-04 NBA season, his only year with the New York Knicks. The defensive enforcer played 65 games with the Knicks in 2003-04, averaging 5.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while anchoring the playoff-bound Knicks defensive frontcourt. These shoes are size 22, with a “9-25-03” stamping present on the tongue tag. The shoes have black Nike swooshes applied to the outside of the foot and the heel, while “TEAM MAX” is applied to the tongue. Mutombo has signed the left shoe on the outside heel and the right shoe on the toe. Both signatures have been written in blue marker. These shoes originate from the personal memorabilia collection of Tyronn Lue, who was gifted the shoes by Mutombo after a game. The shoes come with a LOA from Tyronn Lue and a LOA from JSA (Z59992). Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
