There have been some popular career rings offered for the likes of Mickey Mantle and Roberto Clemente. Presented here is one of those career rings, but this one is for the late great catcher and Hall of Famer Gary Carter. This particular ring was a personal model for “The Kid” and features his number “8” in the center of a blue stone with 10 diamonds inside the number. Surrounding his number is raised lettering that reads “11 TIME ALL STAR * 2 TIME ALL STAR MVP*” with the outer verbiage reading “GARY CARTER*HALL OF FAME 2003*”. The left shank of this 10-karat gold ring has the raised logos of the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants with banners below that read “THREE TIME GOLD GLOVE WINNER”. The opposite shank has the Montreal Expos and New York Mets’ logos, with raised lettering that read”1986 WORLD SERIES CHAMP”. This ring is a size 15, weighing approximately 36.45 grams and features a “BALFOUR 10K” stamp on the inside band.
