Jim Thome, one of the newest members of the Hall of Fame and a member of the ultra-exclusive 600 Home Run Club, joined the Philadelphia Phillies before the 2003 season, and promptly led the National League in home runs with 47. He also contributed 131 RBI and scored 111 runs, completely revitalizing the Phillies franchise. The Rawlings 491B model bat shows excellent game use with a crack on the handle. There are many ball marks and scuffs on the barrel and the lower handle has been taped to enhance the grip. A coat of pine tar has been applied. The 600 Home Run Club member has signed the barrel in contrasting silver pen. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (G55625) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8. There is also a LOA from PSA/DNA for signature.
