Presented here is a VIP Player Brunch pass from the 2003 NBA All-Star Game signed by Hall of Famers Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant. Both Duncan and Bryant made the 5th All-Star appearances of their careers. They started for the Western Conference during the midseason classic held at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta on February 9th, 2003. The West defeated the East in double overtime 155-145. Duncan played 40 minutes and recorded 19 points with 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Bryant scored 22 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the victory. The 3 ½ x 6-inch pass to the player brunch held before the All-Star Game is green and white and features gray accents and a green-outlined basketball on the midsection. The brunch, sponsored by Sprite, features “SPRITE OBEY YOUR THIRST” and the NBA logo on the top of the ticket. “VIP PLAYER BRUNCH” appears on the midsection of the ticket in green lettering. The brunch was held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on February 9th, 2003. Bryant signed and inscribed his number “8” across the front of the pass with a black marker. Duncan signed and inscribed “To Mike” in black marker on the reverse of the pass. The signatures and inscriptions are bold, and the ticket is in great condition and comes encapsulated and authenticated by Beckett Authentication (00012850430), who graded it AUTHENTIC AUTOGRAPH.
