The 2003 MLB All-Star Game, held at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, was a thrilling affair. The American League triumphed 7-6, thanks to a two run Hank Blalock home run in bottom of the eighth inning against otherwise excellent closer Eric Gagne. This was the first season that home field advantage in the World Series was decided by the winner of the All-Star Game.

This baseball has been signed by 27 members of the 2003 National League All-Star team, with manager Dusty Baker signing the sweet spot of the ball. Hall of Famers Gary Carter and John Smoltz signed this ball. Other signatures include Albert Pujols, Gary Sheffield, Scott Rolen, Luis Gonzalez, Mark Prior, Todd Helton, Russ Ortiz, Woody Williams, Randy Wolf, Rondell White, Preston Wilson, Shawn Chacon, Lloyd McClendon, Wendell Kim, and several more. This 2003 All-Star Game Official Allan H. Selig baseball is signed in black pen, and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (MR331603).
