A franchise since 1903, when they were the New York Highlanders, the Yankees have been the most successful outfit in American professional sports, claiming a record 27 World Series titles. This bat has been signed by 25 New York Yankee greats, including the Hall of Famers Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Reggie Jackson, and Goose Gossage (inscribed “78 WS Champs”). Other signatures include Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Sparky Lyle (inscribed “Cy 1977”), Don Larsen (inscribed “PG 10-8-56”), Roy White (inscribed “NYY 1965-1979”), Chris Chambliss (inscribed “1977-1978 WS Champs”), Graig Nettles, David Cone (inscribed “P.G. 7-18-99”), David Wells, Paul O’Neill, Doc Gooden, Joe Girardi, Darryl Strawberry, Don Zimmer, Tino Martinez, Luis Sojo, Ron Blomberg, and several more.
